AYC Management d.o.o. is an international management consulting company with offices in Zagreb and Zadar. The company has an opening for a Financial Analyst/Finance Manager. The Financial Analyst/Finance Manager will provide support to the Management by performing financial analysis, market research, due diligence procedures for capital expenditures and potential acquisitions, audit and ad-hoc duties as required. The selected candidate will be a dynamic, self-starter with strong communication and analytical skills.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


· Develop financial modeling and analysis for various purposes (e.g. construction, development,           operation)

·  Prepare proformas and cashflows necessary for financing purposes

·   Act as liaison with external legal counsel, development, construction, and banks

·   Coordinate due diligence processes for potential acquisitions

· Perform analysis on budget vs actual on a monthly basis and identify potential cost savings opportunities

·  Assist in implementing cost saving initiatives

·   Design internal policies and ensure internal control policies are properly implemented

· Ensure procurement policies are properly implemented and identify opportunities for cost     management improvement

·   Deal with auditors and make sure auditing process is smooth and efficient

·   Assist Deputy General Manager in financing activities

·   Prepare budgets and forecasts

·   Review statutory financial statements and reporting packages to HO for consolidation

·   Develop management reports as required

·   Travelling may be required


SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE


  • Ability to interact with people at all levels of the corporate structure, prioritize and handle numerous competing demands in a high-volume, fast-paced working environment
  • High proficiency in English and Croatian language skills
  • 3+ years of experience in a progressive finance positions; exposure in hotel development / Real Estate Industry / Big Four Accounting environment is highly preferred
  • Proven ability to work effectively in independent settings

  • Available to work overtime and be on call as required
  • Identify and resolve or escalate issues in a timely manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, including superior proficiency with Word, Excel and Power Point
